Eduardo da Silva horrific injury

Arsenal´s Brazilian-born footballer Eduardo da Silva, has been taken to hospital after suffering an horrific injury in Saturday´s Premier League match at Birmingham.

Eduardo was clattered by Martin Taylor’s lunging tackle just moments after kick off at St Andrews and he needed more than seven minutes of treatment.

The television network broadcasting the match live in England refused to show replays because the injury was so horrendous.

The Arsenal’s striker looks certain to miss out on Croatia’s participation at Euro 2008 in June.
